Short Film Incubator—OneDay Workshop with Ivan D. Osa

The Business of Film Workshop Series is designed to provide filmmakers and aspiring filmmakers
with the necessary business skills and knowledge to succeed in the film industry. Through a series
of eleven half-day workshop sessions, a wide range of topics will be covered, including
understanding the Cultural Industries Development Act, finance accounting and tax compliance,
film law negotiations and contracts, intellectual property and copyright protection, insurance and
investment, branding and marketing, pitching for film, writing the business plan, project
management for film and television, navigating government systems and distribution and finance.
